QUESTION! How successful would it be if I used Adwords to advertise my Squidoo lens with my affiliate links in them? I know it would make the buyer have to go through an extra link, but do you think it would be worth it?

I think you’re better off sending your Adwords traffic to a real capture page… there are fewer distractions that way.

    i’m a bit confused
    on the budget
is that how much they will charge you a day for posting up your ads or putting your ads on search engines?
and traffics that click on your ad will be 20 cents per click?

  14. thuff1335 03. Jan, 2010 at 8:08 am #

How much should i expect to pay a day with a budget of 8 dollars a day?

@FundedMarketing Hi great vid. Does the URL link have to be your own website or just where your product is advertised e.g. a classified ads site, thanks

@WICKEDMAN9MM I dont know if this is what you ment but….

An adwords campaign has a list of keywords (selected by you) which are linked to a set of ads (also created by you). once someone searches a keyword in your campaign, one of your ads in then triggered. if your ad shows (this is called an impression) the prospect can click your ad and then directed to a webpage which ever one you have chosen. can be your own website or one made with google.

  21. DARKDEZINE 14. Jun, 2010 at 10:51 am #

@thuff1335 depends on the industry and which keywords you pick.
plumbers, electrician’s etc… = expensive keywords (In Australia they cost a minimum of $2 a click)

if you have a niche product chances are they can drop to under $1 per click but you need a good campaign and good website.

Google rate’s everything based on relevancy, the more relevant your keywords, ads and webpage’s are, the chance things will be cheaper for you.

if anyone has questions message me. more than happy to help!
